Khamenei, the Father of Modern Iran / A Genius of Historic Proportions!
Iran on the Path to the New Islamic Civilization
After the Islamic Revolution, the entire front of global arrogance was united in one single objective: to bring down a revolutionary nation that refused to accept the tutelage of either of the two contemporary superpowers, and which had declared “Neither East, nor West” as its fundamental, non-negotiable principle. From that very day, the hegemonic front unsheathed its sword against Iran, determined to impose such a crushing defeat and humiliation upon it that it would serve as a lasting lesson for all the nations of the Global South.
The first decade of the Revolution, bolstered by the revolutionary spirit and the maximum popular support, saw every enemy conspiracy end in failure. However, after that, Iran entered a far more sensitive phase. Naturally, new challenges emerged, and the war took on different, more complex dimensions. It was under these exact circumstances that Ayatollah Khamenei was chosen to lead the nation. A leader who had to not only rebuild the ruins left by the war, but simultaneously meet the expectations of a revolutionary society yearning for development and prosperity.
Forty Years of Transformation and Progress; From the Village to the Peaks of Civilization
During the nearly forty-year leadership of Ayatollah Khamenei, Iran transformed from a nation of fifty million people into a country with a population approaching one hundred million. Iranian society evolved from a predominantly rural foundation into a country with an overwhelmingly urban majority. Over these years, despite all obstacles—sanctions and enemy propaganda—Iran emerged as a nation with a young, educated population, and the urban middle class became the dominant demographic force in the country.
An extensive network of roads, water, electricity, healthcare, education, and natural gas was established across the nation. During his leadership, Iran experienced one of the highest rates of growth in the Human Development Index in the world, evolving from a primarily rural country into one with tens of millions of specialists and university graduates. This is the very “Strong Iran” for which the wise Leader has charted a roadmap for decades to come.
A Mythic Funeral Procession; A Dignity Unmatched in History
In the annals of history, no sent Prophet and no rightful Imam has ever had such multitudes escorting them on their final journey. No Muslim Caliph from Baghdad to the Hejaz, and no Marja’ Taqlid from Qom to Najaf, has ever been mourned for several consecutive nights and days by millions of Muslims from across the Islamic world. Caesar and Khosrow—the emperors of Rome and Persia—could only yearn in envy for such devoted followers and such a nation. The kings of Iran never even dreamed of such a legendary, mythic funeral.
After Mozaffar ad-Din Shah, no Iranian king was even buried in his own homeland. Each either died in a European hospital under a pseudonym, or perished on a deserted island amidst the oceans. Tehran, from its humble beginnings as a small village near Ray to its current status as the “Mother of Cities” of the Islamic world, has never witnessed such an earth-shattering event.
This is the funeral of the martyr, Seyed Ali Khamenei, which stands shoulder to shoulder with all of history itself. This is the very idea of the Islamic Revolution, which has thus glorified Islam and fixed the world’s gaze upon the coffin of a Shia jurist. Let those Shias who only know sitting and waiting from their religion open their eyes and witness the dignity of Islam behind the coffin of Khamenei. Let those Iranians who lament the supposed lost glory of Iran under its ancient kings witness the resurrection of Khamenei, occurring after centuries of the pitiful, ignominious deaths of their monarchs. This is Tehran; this is the body of the martyr Seyed Ali Khamenei; and these are the best of people that history has ever seen!
The Peerless Genius of the Era; A Leader with a Thousand Faces
Yes, this is our Leader! Ayatollah Khamenei, our beloved genius. Sometimes, he stands as a distinguished literary figure, recommending select novels from the hundreds of foreign and domestic books he has read and writing forewords for others, inspiring people to read and write. Sometimes, he becomes the radiant sun at the gathering of poets, nurturing exquisite and responsible literature.
Sometimes, like a masterful professor among circles of Qur’an reciters and memorizers, he undertakes the training of an outstanding generation of reciters and Qur’anic managers with the most precise technical nuances, fulfilling his historic role. Sometimes, among the intellectual elite, he analyzes the history of Islam or world nations so profoundly that one imagines he has spent his entire life immersed in historical study.
Sometimes, among military personnel and commanders—both veteran and young—he guides specialized military, security, and strategic tactics against the external enemy with such expertise that it draws admiration from some of the most powerful leaders and commanders in the world. Sometimes, like a sagacious elder among professors, students, seminary scholars, and technologists, he speaks of the scientific future of the country and charts the course for a “Strong and Advanced Iran” decades into the future.
Sometimes, among scholars, experts, and domestic and foreign religious authorities, he deduces new paths for the advancement of the Islamic Ummah with such mastery of scientific principles, modern thought, and innovation that it evokes everyone’s admiration. And at other times, like a compassionate father among young girls who have just reached the age of religious maturity, and among the children of martyrs, he opens his wings of love and affection so wide that the children, overjoyed at the mere prospect of meeting him, become ecstatic with happiness.
Yes, this is our Leader, the unparalleled genius of the age! He is the one specially nurtured by the Imam of the Age (Imam Mahdi) and the student of Ruhollah (Khomeini). He is Seyed Ali Khamenei.
The West’s War Against a Strong Iran; The Story of Independence and Dignity
The main arena where the West escalated its war against Ayatollah Khamenei to its utmost limit was his unwavering belief in independence, the empowerment of the nation, and the indigenization of national development—particularly in the military domain. Everything else was merely a pretext to prevent him from achieving this goal. In its war against Ayatollah Khamenei, the West deployed all its tools, but all those tools were merely means; the ultimate objective was always to prevent Iran’s independence, especially in the military and defensive spheres.
If the West launched a discourse war against Ayatollah Khamenei over women’s freedom—one of the fundamental areas of divergence between Western thought and the Leader, where the West accused him of opposing women’s freedom and rights, while he fundamentally viewed the Western perspective on women as instrumental and sexual, vehemently opposing it—its goal was never the freedom of Iranian women. If Ayatollah Khamenei had abandoned his insistence on Iran’s independence and strength, and submitted to the West’s terms, the West would have had no problem with Iranian women wearing the burqa, and would likely have exported millions of chadors and veils to Iran annually. The real objective was always to incite a segment of society against him and to mobilize a portion of Iranian women to bring him down and prevent him from achieving his ultimate goal.
Conclusion; A Legacy for History
Ayatollah Khamenei, the Father of Modern Iran, did not merely rebuild a nation from the ruins of war; he bestowed upon Islam and Iran an unprecedented dignity. Over forty years of leadership, he transformed Iran from a rural society into the epicenter of a new Islamic civilization. Independence, development, justice, and spirituality are the four pillars upon which he founded the “Strong Iran.” The mythic funeral and the unparalleled grandeur that will manifest after him stand as irrefutable testimony to the fact that Iran, on its path toward civilization-building, is indebted to a wise and genius leader the likes of whom history has never witnessed.
